The Historical ArchivesEssential phone is real, you guys, and it will actually start shipping within 7 days.
This is according to an email sent to customers who have reserved the phone, Android Authorityreports. This doesn't, however, include the Essential 360 Camera; customers that ordered it will receive a separate email with a shipping date for the gadget.

In early August, the project founder Andy Rubin (also known as the creator of Android) broke the silence by tweeting photos of the phone being manufactured.
The Essential phone is a Sprint exclusive (you can also get an unlocked version directly from Essential's website) and is currently only available for customers in the U.S. It costs $699 or $749 if you bundle it with the Essential 360 Camera.
The Essential is a 5.71-inch phone with a titanium body and a screen that covers nearly its entire front side. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, 13-megapixel dual cameras on the back, an 8-megapixel selfie cam and a 3,040mAh battery. It's also semi-modular, with modules (such as the aforementioned 360-degree camera) that can be magnetically attached to its body.
