Iribe posted the statement on his Facebook page.
The other statement comes from Oculus Head of Content Jason Rubin. This one more directly addresses a statement that Luckey himself shared on Friday.
Luckey's statement refutes some of the claims in the original story, reported by The Daily Beast. He claims that he wasn't involved in the founding of pro-Trump political organization called Nimble America, and further notes that he did not post on Reddit under the "NimbleRichMan" pseudonym.
Luckey also identifies himself as a Libertarian and adds that he'll be voting for Gary Johnson in the coming election.
The report from The Daily Beastclaims that Luckey himself confirmed at an earlier date that he had posted under the aforementioned Reddit username, using a password provided by Nimble America. The report also identifies Luckey as a Nimble America founder.

In his own Facebook posting, Rubin defends Luckey. He doesn't address the points of differentiation between the Daily Beast report and Luckey's statement directly, though he does write "I take [Palmer] at his word."
