The comic, which shows Tracer kissing the woman who appears to be her girlfriend, Emily, has been banned on the Russian version of the Overwatchmedia site. If you attempt to view the comic in Russian, you will see the message shown in the above photo, which translates to: "In accordance to Russian law we cannot share this comics with our players from the Russian Federation territory."
A Blizzard spokesperson confirmed the news to Mashable. Russian-reading people will have to view the comic in a different language.
"Due to local legislation in the Russian Federation, we are unable to bring our recent Overwatchdigital comic to players in the region," the spokesperson said in an email. "We regret that those who were eager to read this story comic are unable to do so in their native language."
Despite Russia's stance on the comic, most people online seem to love the fact that there is officially an LGBTQ character on the Overwatchroster -- especially the cover star of the game.

Despite Russia's intransigence on the subject, so much support for the LGBTQ community within the gaming community almost makes 2016 just a little bit better.
