The Watch Human Capital Onlinefirst-generation Apple TV was released more than 11 years ago and starting this May, Apple's iTunes Store will no longer work on the device, along with other older computers.
In a recent Apple support post, the tech company announced that the online store to purchase music, videos, TV shows, movies, and apps won't be accessible on first-generation Apple TVs and Windows XP and Vista PCs starting May 25.

Apple goes as far to call the first-gen TV "an obsolete Apple product." But without updates iTunes isn't going to work -- you'll need to upgrade to a second-generation or newer TV.
This is quite the departure from the original advertising around the once shiny and new TV product -- which was inextricably tied in with iTunes.

Also the iTunes store will be fairly useless since you won't be able to purchase anything new or re-download purchases.
Mark your calendars for the end of iTunes if you're holding onto any of these old devices.
