The 81-year-old king's entourage consists of 620 people, and he's bringing 800 delegates for more official stuff, including 10 ministers and 25 princes.
It will take 27 flights to transport everyone to Jakarta, Indonesia's capital city, said Airfreight firm PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta.
King Salman last visited Indonesia 47 years ago. The trip is part of a month-long tour of Asia, including countries such as Brunei and China. His first stop was to Malaysia earlier last week.

The King is expected to seal a series of deals worth around $25 billion during his visit to Indonesia.
"Has King Salman checked his luggage? It'd be funny if he reaches Indonesia [with so much] and has to turn back because he left his battery charger or phone behind," said one Indonesian on Twitter.
"[His luggage's] all stuffed in the overhead locker I bet," said another netizen.
The king is quite used to travelling in style.
Earlier in 2015, he booked the entire Four Seasons in Georgetown during a three-night stay in the U.S.
He also took 500 people on vacation on the French Riviera, leading to the whole beach having to close -- a move that was met with protest from the local community.
