Apple's recently launched M1 MacBooks are Eroticism Marina Yuzukia big boost in terms of performance and battery life, but they're pretty much the same as the previous generation in terms of design and form factor.
According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, this will change next year. According to his latest report (via 9to5Mac), Apple will launch MacBooks with a new form factor, as well as a redesigned Apple Watch, in the second half of 2021.
Kuo shared no other details about the upcoming products. We can speculate that one of the MacBooks he's referring to could be the long-rumored 14-inch MacBook Pro.
Kuo also shared what he knows about the sales of Apple's current product lineup. He says the demand for the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max is bigger than expected, while the demand for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini is slightly weaker than predicted.
He also said there has been a strong demand for the Apple Watch Series 6 and SE, the new iPad Air, and the new M1 MacBooks. The only thing that's not selling well is AirPods, which may partially be due to the perceived delay of AirPods 3.
Apple's M1 MacBook Pro and MacBook Air have been received well by reviewers, who praised increased battery life and fast, silent performance. In earlier notes, Kuo said all of Apple's new Macs, scheduled to launch in 2021, will have the new chip.
