Alibaba has tapped Wan Lin,Bazaar CEO of its logistics arm Cainiao, and Jiang Fan, chief executive of its global e-commerce business, for partnership roles giving them board nomination rights, according to Alibaba’s annual report published on July 21. Wang Jian, founder of Alibaba Cloud, is one of a number of senior figures at the firm set to exit the partnership as Jiang Fan rejoins, three years after allegations of an extra-marital affair led to an investigation into his behavior at the Chinese e-commerce giant. The 37-year-old Jiang, the youngest partner at Alibaba, has led international online retailing since last January, with the unit posting 29% revenue growth for the quarter that ended March 31.
