Based on the Japanese manga series, Death Notefollows a young man (Nat Wolff) who comes across a book that allows him to kill anyone in the world, simply by writing their name in the pages.
He decides to use this power to unleash his own brand of vigilante justice, but as the bodies pile up, his actions attract the attention of an mysterious detective known only as L (Lakeith Stanfield).
