TV network Fox confirmed Friday that it would be Sedan Sex (2018)reviving Tim Allen's comedy Last Man Standing. The news – rumored for weeks – was confirmed a day after the network canceled critically acclaimed comedies The Last Man on Earth, The Mick, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Thanks to its millions of devoted viewers and the irrepressible Tim Allen, we haven’t seen the last of Last Man Standing."
Last Man Standing did six seasons at ABC ("six innings" star Allen said in the press release, "ahead by four runs...and then for no reason, they call off the game") until its cancelation in 2017.
"When I heard the offer to create more episodes of Last Man Standing, I did a fist pump so hard I threw my back out," Allen added. "It’s the fans! I could not be more grateful for the fans who wrote petitions and kept up the passion and incredible support for the show."
Last Man Standing will make its Fox debut in fall.
