Those trendy, eroticized rebel archetype relaxing Himalayan Rock Salt lamps everyone's been buzzing about might not be as safe as you think.
On Tuesday, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a recall on about 80,000 lamps, which are believed to have health benefits and improve your mood, due to potential shock and fire hazard risks.

Though no injuries have been reported yet, the recall states that the lamp's dimmer switch and outlet plug have the potential to overheat and ignite, posing danger to owners.
Those who purchased the lamps during the five-month time period are instructed to check the barcodes and return recalled products to any U.S. Michaels store for a cash refund.
