The Seung Ha (승하) ArchivesWalking Dead/ Fear the Walking Deadcrossover is getting the big-screen treatment – for one night, anyway.
AMC and Fathom Events are bringing a fan event called "Survival Sunday" to 750 theaters across the country on April 15.
SEE ALSO: 'The Walking Dead' will be getting its first 'fully nude' zombie soon sure why notThe screening will consist of the Season 8 finale of The Walking Deadand the Season 4 premiere of Fear the Walking Dead, both shown without commercials, along with some as-yet-unrevealed "exclusive bonus content."
The connective tissue here is Morgan Jones (Lennie James), a Walking Deadregular who'll be crossing over to become a Fear the Walking Deadregular.
The hows and whys of his transition remain unclear. Fear the Walking Deadis set a few years before the events of The Walking Dead, so this isn't a matter of just having Morgan walk over from one set to another. Unless, that is, these episodes are setting up Fearfor a major time jump.
"Survival Sunday" starts at the same moment across all of the continental U.S.: 8:30 p.m. ET, 7:30 p.m. CT, 6:30 p.m. MT, and 5:30 p.m. PT. (Alaska and Hawaii will have their showings tape-delayed to 7:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., respectively.) What this means is that if you're in the continental U.S., you won't need to fear spoilers on the internet.
If spending hours in a zombie-infested wasteland surrounded by dozens of other zombie fanatics sounds like your cup of tea, you can head over to FathomEvents.com (or your local box office) for tickets starting Friday, March 16.
