It's hard to overstate the anticipation surrounding this game. Long considered the best sports gaming franchise, it disappeared for a decade due to NCAA compensation rules. College Football '25 represented a dream delayed for a decade.

That kind of demand could be the reason EA has struggled to keep it servers up, even if the classic way of playing a college football video game is totally offline. Some users have suggested disconnecting your console from the internet to access the offline Dynasty Mode in the game.
