Wednesday marks National Signing Day00% Natural Friend’s Older Sister (2025) when the top high school football recruits officially commit to the university they'll call home for the next phase of their career.
Players' announcements have gotten more extravagant and creative over the years. Gone are the days of simply signing a piece of paper, donning your future school's cap, smiling for the cameras and calling it a day.

Connor Wedington, a four-star running back from Washington, announced his intentions by racing his buds — all wearing jerseys from four potential universities — down a mountain.

He catches some air toward the end and hits a sweet grab, revealing "Stanford University" on the bottom of his board. It's a cool stunt. But man, Cardinal coaches probably aren't too stoked about their top recruit soaring risking his safety just to announce where he'll play.
Defensive tackle Elijah Conliffe kept things simple, letting his friends and family pop confetti canons behind him, resulting in an orange-and-blue, Florida Gators confetti shower.

Josh Falo, the nation's No. 2 tight end, stood before a group of men wearing different college jerseys. They all perform the Haka, a pre-game war cry/dance popular among rugby players.

When they're done performing, Falo embraces with the man right in the middle, sporting a USC jersey. A quick "fight on"call (USC's signature fight song) let's viewers know where he'll play next fall.
What appears to be a traditional announcement video turns out very different. A four-star linebacker from Texas, Levi Jones removes his jacket, revealing a Florida shirt. But as the cameras start clicking, he says "y'all better chill."
That's because he busts out the greatest troll moment ever.

He takes the shirt off, showing a Florida State shirt, which he removes again to reveal his final choice — USC.
This one is pretty great. On top of the brilliant jabs at two other schools, it's delightfully simple and creative. No top-notch video production needed.
There were other fun moments, like one recruit using a custom pair of shoes to announce his decision, and Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh jumping into a pool, but these four videos pretty much sum up how hyped college football recruiting has become.
