The M5 lineup includes General, Pro, Max, and Ultra variants, tailored for different performance needs. Manufactured using TSMC’s N3P (3nm) process, the M5 chips reportedly deliver 5% higher computing performance and 5% to 10% better energy efficiency than the M4 series. Apple has also adopted new process technologies to enhance AI performance in the M5 chips.
