The sexiest naughtyest eroticismanniversary of the original iPhone's unveiling is tomorrow, but Apple decided to celebrate a little early with a tribute page on Sunday night.

Apple gets artsy with new ad.Apple's special page notes the iPhone's upcoming 10th anniversary on Jan. 9 and includes images of the company's co-founder, Steve Jobs, who presented the device to the world, as well as heartfelt remembrances from Apple insiders on what it took to make the device a reality.
"It is amazing that from the very first iPhone through to today's newest iPhone 7 Plus, it has remained the gold standard by which all other smartphones are judged," said Phil Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of worldwide marketing.

After listing all the things we can now do with the iPhone, Schiller says, "And I believe we are just getting started."
For long time Apple watchers, that last line, just before the anniversary of the device, is a clear hint that the next iPhone (expected to be released later this year) will probably pack a few surprises.
Some rumors have speculated that the device may have rounded edges, others have mentioned a clear glass shell, and still other rumors have touched on a possible augmented reality component.
As usual, Apple isn't offering any hints about what's coming, but if you're in the market for a new iPhone, and have any breathing room to wait until the second half of this year, waiting is probably a good idea. The next iPhone is probably what Apple has been holding its real surprises for in terms of next-generation technology.
"iPhone set the standard for mobile computing in its first decade and we are just getting started," said Tim Cook, in the same message. "The best is yet to come."
